Frequently Asked Questions
-
How do your camouflage stencils work?
Detailed instructions hereMy camo stencils are made from either adhesive vinyl or cardstock and can be used on just about any clean surface. Adhesive stencils are for one-time use and are applied to the surface, spray painted over, then removed to reveal your chosen camo pattern. Cardstock stencils may be used multiple times but will show wear over time due to contact with paint.

How long will it take for my order to ship?
All stencils are made to order and shipped by me - a one-woman operation and stay at home mom - in my kitchen. I typically produce and ship within 10 business days, though lead times can vary based on order volume - especially after popular videos or social media features. For the most up-to-date lead time estimate, feel free to reach out before placing your order!
You will receive an email with tracking information when your order ships.

How should I apply adhesive camo stencils?
Detailed instructions hereMy stencils can be used by either a) laying them down in full sheets or b) cutting out separate shapes and placing them individually.
When laying stencils down in full sheets, the pattern is made to "stack" from bottom to top. You can line subsequent layers up with previous layers for a more accurate pattern. Removing previous stencil layers as you go will yield the best results when using this method.
When cutting out and placing individual shapes, I recommend masking (with painter's tape) between your cut lines to avoid straight/sharp lines between shapes on your finished paint job.

Can stencils be used with Cerakote?
I have not personally tested my stencils with any application other than spray paint, so I cannot guarantee any success when using them with Cerakote or other coating methods. I do not recommend using my stencils at high temperatures due to unknown potential safety or health risks. If you are interested in ordering stencils made with vinyl rated for high temperatures, feel free to contact me using the chat feature or the form below.

Important Notes on Stencil Results & Application
While my stencils are designed for clean, professional-looking camo results when used properly, final outcomes can vary based on factros including by not limited to: surface preparation, paint type, paint thickness, application technique, environmental conditions, and curing times. Success depends on following the instructions closely - many customers achieve great results, but after all, it's a DIY project. I can't guarantee identical results to photos or prevent issues from improper use (e.g., bleed-under from heavy coats of paint or residue from rushed removal or heat/humidity). Always test on a scrap piece first, and reach out if you have any questions before starting!
